The British Remake Of 'Silent Night, Bloody Night' Lands US Distro

For those of you longing too see the British remake of the 1974 American horror film 'lent Night, Bloody Night,' your wishes are about to come true. We just got wind that Elite Entertainment has acquired North American and distribution rights to bring the UK re-telling of the slasher statede. In addition, EE will also be handling international distro rights to bring the film to global audiences as well.



lent Night, Bloody Night: The Homecoming was directed by James Plumb and produced by Andrew Jones, who also wrote the script together. Robert Graham of Independent Moving Pictures executive produced. The cast includes Adrienne King, star of the original 'Friday the 13th' and 'Friday the 13th Part 2'.

The story focuses on the abandoned home of Wilfred Butler, a wealthy but troubled man who committed suicide in 1987, which has been willed to his grandson Jeffrey. On Christmas Eve 2012, Jeffrey and his lawyer show up in the town of Fairwood to negotiate the sale of the property. But an Axe wielding maniac has set up redence in the house - and he doesn't take kindly to strangers.

Founded in 1993, Elite Entertainment has nce become one of the leaders in the restoration and distribution of horror, science fiction and cult DVD titles. Previous releases include Special Editions of a host of horror clascs such as 'The Texas Chainsaw Massacre', 'Night of the Living Dead', 'A Nightmare on Elm Street', 'Dawn of the Dead', 'Re-Animator', 'Maniac', 'I Spit On Your Grave', 'Maniac Cop' and 'The Evil Dead'.

Andrew Jones, owner of North Bank Entertainment, and Predent of Elite Vini Bancalari made the deal.

The UK & Ireland distribution rights to 'lent Night, Bloody Night: The Homecoming' have previously been acquired by 101 Films.
