Back in 2006 we were able to have a glimpse into the past of Leatherface which showed him still working at the slaughter house in TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE: THE BEGINNING. Have you ever wondered what it must have been like for Leatherface growing up as a child? There is a new promotional trailer (see below) for this idea titled THE BEST THERE EVER WAS and it is a prequel to the original TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE.
A man by the name of Derek Cole, who owns the production company 2 Man Production, is working on getting the movie off of the ground. Cole is also the person who directed the trailer below. The story is centered around the Grandpa from the original film but he is much younger and Bubba Sawyer (Leatherface) is just a kid. The movie will be based on how the Grandpa raised young Bubba to be who he is going to be.
This is very interesting, what do you all think about this?
