Video: Jennifer Tilly Talks CULT OF CHUCKY Within!

Bringing you the best in Horror Movie News, and all things Horror.

CURSE OF CHUCKY hit the scene back in 2013 and was mostly well received by fans. The film was a rebirth to classic franchise opening up the door of possibilities. With the sequel now moving along full steam ahead, it looks we all will be in for a real treat by Halloween time.

The upcoming sequel, titled CULT OF CHUCKY, has been building some grand momentum within the Horror community as fans are eager to see what Chucky has in store for them next.

Franchise star Jennifer Tilly, who plays Tiffany, recently appeared on New York Live to talk about her taking the stage for a performance of Celebrity Autobiography, but clearly the hot topic during this interview is the discussion of the upcoming film and Chucky. You can watch the interview in the video below.

CULT OF CHUCKY will follow Fiona Dourif's character Nica Pierce from the previous film CURSE OF CHUCKY as she is:

"at an asylum for the criminally insane where she has been confined for the past four years and is erroneously convinced that she, not Chucky, murdered her entire family. But when Nica's psychiatrist introduces a new therapeutic "tool" to facilitate his patients' group sessions — an all-too-familiar "Good Guy" doll with an innocently smiling face — a string of grisly deaths begins to plague the asylum, and Nica starts to wonder if maybe she isn't crazy after all. Andy Barclay (Vincent), Chucky's now-grown-up nemesis from the original Child's Play, races to Nica's aid. But to save her he'll have to get past Tiffany (Tilly), Chucky's long-ago bride, who will do anything, no matter how deadly or depraved, to help her beloved devil doll."

Joining Tilly in CULT OF CHUCKY is a cast made up of Fiona Dourif as Nica Pierce, Summer H. Howell as Alice, Alex Vincent as Andy Barclay, and Brad Dourif as the voice of Chucky. Newcomer Grace Lynn Kung joins in on the fun as the "hard-edged" Claire.

Don Mancini writes, directs, and serves as executive producer on CULT OF CHUCKY which is being produced by David Kirschner and Ogden Gavanski. Leading the special effects team as well as associate producing is Tony Gardner. Michael Marshall is the director of photography, Craig Sandells is the production designer and Patricia J. Henderson is the costume designer.

CULT OF CHUCKY will be getting an unrated release on Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital HD this Fall.
