World Exclusive Reveal Video Of Tom Savini’s New Jason In Action From FRIDAY THE 13TH: THE GAME!

Fans of Jason Voorhees have been very eager to experience the upcoming FRIDAY THE 13TH: THE GAME from Gun Media and IllFonic in partnership with Crystal Lake Entertainment. Continuing to move forward with great progress, it will not be much longer now until the new game is released.

Not long ago we got the first look at Tom Savini’s new look for Jason which came in the form of images showing what Voorhees looked like after spending some time in Hell. This is the first Jason Voorhees created by Tom Savini since FRIDAY THE 13TH PART 4: THE FINAL CHAPTER and the first new Jason in the series since the 2009 film reboot.

Today we bring you the World Exclusive video that shows the full version of Savini’s new Jason in action as he goes after an unlucky counselor.





FRIDAY THE 13TH: THE GAME is a third-person, asymmetrical multiplayer title where one player controls Jason Voorhees while the remaining seven control camp counselors trying to survive the night.That’s right…1v7 multiplayer set in the semi-open world of Camp Crystal Lake! It’s a classic horror fan’s dream, no shaky cam, no found footage. We want you to know we’re revitalizing the golden era of slashers, and putting you at the controls of each horrific, blood-splattered moment.

Kane Hodder reprises his role as Jason Voorhees via motion capture. Also on board with the project are FRIDAY THE 13TH Alumni Tom Savini, Harry Manfredini, and Sean S. Cunningham.

FRIDAY THE 13TH: THE GAME is being developed for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. As of now, an official release date has not been announced but the game is expected to be arriving very soon.
