Official Trailer Arrives For THE DARK TOWER!

Fans of Stephen King are patiently waiting for the arrival of the upcoming film adaptation of THE DARK TOWER book series from Columbia Pictures and MRC. Directed by Nikolaj Arcel, the movie will take bits from the books and lump them together in hopes that the watching experience will be marvelous.

The cast is made up of Idris Elba as The Gunslinger, Roland Deschain, and Tom Taylor as Jake Chambers, Matthew McConaughey as The Man in Black, Abbey Lee as Tirana, Fran Kranz as Pimli, the right hand man of Randall Flagg; Jackie Earle Haley; Katheryn Winnick and Claudia Kiim.

Synopsis:

“The Dark Tower series tells the story of Roland Deschain, Mid-World’s last gunslinger, who is traveling southeast across Mid-World’s post-apocalyptic landscape, searching for the powerful but elusive magical edifice known as The Dark Tower. Located in the fey region of End-World, amid a sea of singing red roses, the Dark Tower is the nexus point of the time-space continuum. It is the heart of all worlds, but it is also under threat. Someone, or something, is using the evil technology of the Great Old Ones to destroy it.“



THE DARK TOWER will arrive into theaters on July 28th.
