New Promo Video For ALIEN: COVENANT Is Within!

The 2012 film from director Ridley Scott PROMETHEUS did really well at the box office. The success that the movie found was able to create a great opportunity for a sequel. Scott has been working on the upcoming ALIEN: COVENANT which will be the PROMETHEUS sequel and serve as a prequel to the ALIEN movies.

With not too much longer to go before the release into theaters, we bring you a new promo video from ALIEN: COVENANT that is some clips put together from the film that focus on Katherine Waterson's character. Head on down below to have a look.

The cast of ALIEN: COVENANT is made up of Katherine Waterston, Michael Fassbender, Noomi Rapace, Demian Bichir, Danny McBride, Jussie Smollett, Amy Seimetz, Carmen Ejogo, Benjamin Rigby, Callie Hernandez, Billy Crudup and James Franco.

The film was written by Michael Green, Jack Paglen, and John Logan.

Synopsis:

"Bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, the crew of the colony ship Covenant discovers what they think is an uncharted paradise, but is actually a dark, dangerous world -- whose sole inhabitant is the "synthetic" David, survivor of the doomed Prometheus expedition."





Michael Fassbender previously had this to say about ALIEN COVENANT:

“It’s much scarier than Prometheus, but it’s got the same sort of scope of Prometheus.”

Adding that:

“It’s kind of got more of thriller, imminent disaster feel that Alien had, so it’s kind of a beautiful meeting of both of those films. I’m really excited to see it, I think it’s gonna be super scary number one and then again with the massive scope of Prometheus… Once it starts and the ball starts rolling, it doesn’t let up. It’s really gonna bring chills to the cinema.”

ALIEN: COVENANT will arrive in theaters on May 19th.
