For Sale! The House from A Nightmare On Elm Street!!

Looking for a new home in Los Angeles? Maybe you should buy the house from A Nightmare on Elm Street. The original house used in the 1984 Wes Craven clasc is now for sale and we have all the details, along with a number of photos.

The house was originally built in 1919 and Freddy Krueger fans will instantly recognize the outde from the movie. Current owner Angie Hill purchased the home in 2006 and it required serious indoor renovations to address neglect from the previous owner. As you’ll be able to tell from the pictures below, the inde of the house has been almost completely rebuilt and rearranged, but it doesn’t change the fact that this house is part of horror movie history and the outde has remained mostly the same.

The house is located on 1428 North Genesee Avenue with a current asking price of $2.1 million. If this is something you may be interested in, you can find more details at:

If only! I always drive or walk by this house when I am in Los Angeles every year. No matter how many times I have seen it, it is always surreal. The neighborhood is nice and quiet despite being right off of Sunset Blvd. Believe it or not, the Doyle and Wallace houses from the original Halloween are within walking distance on Orange Grove Avenue.

Doesn't it seem like Wes Craven ought to buy it? Only seems fair. :)
