Classic Horror Anthology Comic Book Series "EEEK!" To Be Released on All Digital Platforms

Asylum Press will be releang Jason Paulos’ EEEK! As a digital horror anthology on all digital platforms.

This is right up my alley! I have always loved the comics. The old Style EC Comics were always fun to read. This take on EEEK! is a throwback retro-style anthology including

all-new horror tales guaranteed to to make your stomach begin to knot! Taking the black humour from EC comics and blending it with the creativity of House of Mystery and Warren comics, EEEK! Looks to be a great outlet for a horror fix in all different types of viewing posbilities.

Each tale drawn in a different style reminiscent of the B&W horror mags of the 70′s and 80′s. EEEK! #1 features four tales of terror.

In ‘Deadline of Death’ we witness rival comic artists dabbling with malevolent forces that arrive in the form of a chain smoking goatee wearing Satan. In ‘Lights! Camera! Murder!’ , A loveck starlet and a ruthless film director embark on a doomed love affair that ends in pieces! ‘Stuffed’ is a heartwarming tale of domestic bliss and stuffed animals…NOT!,

in ‘Just Desserts‘ gluttonous food critic Sol Weinstein winds up stranded on a remote island with nothing to eat … save his fellow passengers.

EEEK! #1-#5 will feature the stories collected in the EEEK! Vol. 1 TPB.

EEEK! #6 and forward will feature all new tales that will eventually be collected into the EEEK! Vol. 2 TPB.

“Jason Paulos is an amazing talent,” says publisher Frank Forte, “he writes and draws almost the entire book.

And he draws in different styles to make it look like there are different artists.

EEEK! will appeal to fans of clasc horror comics of the 70′s and 80′s but also to a new generation of fans who like to laugh and gag.

We hope to reach a worldwide fanbse with the digital release.”

EEEK! is available at Comixology, ComicsPlus, Graphicly, Drivethrucomics, MyDigitalComics and Ave-Comics.

EEEK! is also available on Facebook, iBookstore, iPad, iPhone, KindleFire and Nook storefronts.
