Laurie Holden, the actress who plays Andrea on "The Walking Dead" received death threats, according to a report published by ComicBook.com on March 8th.
In the second season of the show, as you remember Andrea got trigger happy and accidentally
shot at Daryl, mistaking him for a walker. This caused fans to be outraged and to take things a little too seriously. She received death threats that caused her to panic and she confided in Norman Reedus about what was happening.
Executive producer Gale Anne Hurd asked Norman Reedus to take a photograph with Laurie Holden. They all hoped this would let viewers know that the actress did not really try to gun down Daryl and that she was mply playing a role on a televion show. Their goal was to stop Laurie Holden's death threats.
It is frightening how some fans cannot tell the difference between reality and TV. The actress recently had to address fans on Twitter to tell people that she is not Andrea, but an actress who plays Andrea on "The Walking Dead."
A few months ago, a man shot his girlfriend over an argument over "The Walking Dead."
Televion is not reality and all the actors on the show are just playing characters with props. Nobody is actually getting killed on the show and as a reminder, those zombies are not real either. It's one thing to be pasonate about a great show like "The Walking Dead," it's quite another to be deluonal.
