A WALKING DEAD Crossover To Take Place?

Bringing you the best in Horror Movie News, and all things Horror.

Television's most watched drama series in basic cable history is AMC's THE WALKING DEAD. The show left us reeling after the mid-season finale back in November as we said goodbye to another one of our favorite characters. Now the return of THE WALKING DEAD is quickly approaching.

We recently brought you some new details on the upcoming spin-off for THE WALKING DEAD, codenamed COBALT. Now we have learned that a crossover between the two shows could very well be possible.

According to Nerdist, at least one member of the new spin-off series will be appearing in story arc which will last six episodes sometime during the 6th season of THE WALKING DEAD. This character is said to cross paths with Rick and the gang sometime before possibly heading to Los Angeles, which is where the spin-off is to take place. Only time will tell for sure as to how that plays out.

We know that the male lead character for the show Sean Cabrera a divorced teacher, and the female lead character, Nancy Tompkins, who was a guidance counselor end up traveling together somehow.

HARRY POTTER fans will be pleased to learn that Frank Dillane, best known for his role as young Tom Riddle (aka Voldemort) in HALF-BLOOD PRINCE, will play Nancy’s “screwed up teenage son,” Nick, who’s “too old to stay home, too scared to flee” and has “battled a drug problem.” Meanwhile, Alycia Debnam Carey has been cast as Ashley, Nancy’s “mostly level headed teenage daughter,” whose “ambition is in direct proportion to her older brother’s failures.”

THE WALKING DEAD returns to AMC February 8th.

Look for THE WALKING DEAD spin-off series possibly before the end of 2015.
