HALLOWEEN 1978 & AMERICAN HORROR STORY Connection Revealed!

Bringing you the best in Horror Movie News, and all things Horror.

Last year the sixth season of FX’s AMERICAN HORROR STORY: ROANOKE explored new and complex ways of twisting our minds. The series loves to bring the fear while at the same time, keep us guessing the whole way through. We know that the series was previously green lit for seasons seven, eight and nine, AHS looks to bring even more Horror in the future.

With the upcoming Season 7 now being created, fans wonder what kind of Horror can come from a story based around last year’s Presidential election? As we continue to wonder that, we have learned that the upcoming season will carry a touch of HALLOWEEN.

Film crews have recently been spotted at the location of the Wallace and Doyle homes from HALLOWEEN, leading many to believe that the new HALLOWEEN movie could have something to do with it. That however is not the case as it turns out that Season 7 of AMERICAN HORROR STORY has indeed been filming in those iconic houses.

A reveal of the connection of said houses will more than likely not be mentioned during the series run, but just knowing that those locations are to be contained somewhere within the new season should make for a fun watching experience.

The cast is currently of AMERICAN HORROR STORY Season 7 made up of Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Billie Lourd, Leslie Grossman, Cheyenne Jackson and Billy Eichner. It has been said of Eichner's character that he will be playing a close confidant of Paulson's character.

Murphy previously revealed that the new season will “express all sides of the equation”, adding that he wants to put the focus on “people who don’t have a voice in our culture.”

Creator Ryan Murphy previously said about the upcoming season:

“it's really, really fun. It starts on election night is all I'll say... It's very scary, that night, for many people. It's fun, you will like it. It's really a season that will have a lot of people interested and I think there's something for everybody in that season."

Filming on Season 7 of AMERICAN HORROR STORY will begin in June and will likely air on FX in September or October.

We will continue to bring you more on AMERICAN HORROR STORY Season 7 as we hear it.
