A New GREMLINS Project Is Coming!

Well GREMLINS fans it looks like it's time to remember the three rules of the Mogwai as we have learned that there is indeed a new GREMLINS project in the works.

Variety is reporting that an animated series bases on 1984's GREMLINS is being developed for WarnerMedia's new unnamed streaming service.

The GREMLINS series "is said to be a period piece that would follow Mr. Wing, the Chinese grandfather played in the films by Keye Luke, as a young man as he goes on adventures with the friendly Mogwai Gizmo."

Tze Chun is on board to pen and executive produce the hopeful series, and will be produced by Warner Bros. Television and Amblin Television.

The original GREMLINS classic was directed by Joe Dante and written by Chris Columbus and starred Zach Galligan and Phoebe Cates.
