Elizabeth Olsen and Bryan Cranston In Talks To Star in 'Godzilla'
Some more pending casting news has been announced today via Variety regarding Legendary Pictures Godzilla reboot.
With ex-Walking Dead showrunner Frank Darabont handling the rewrite, Variety is reporting that the studio is entering talks with Elizabeth Olsen and Bryan Cranston to co-star in the film along with the previously announced Aaron Johnson. Sources stress that no deals will be done until the finished script materializes.
Gareth Edwards is directing with Warner Bros. distributing. Legendary's Thomas Tull and Jon Jashni will produce along with Mary Parent, who helped produce "Pacific Rim" for Legendary.
Thus far plot details have remained under lock and key. But with production expected to commence next month, we expect some details to soon surface.
Godzilla is expected to hit the big screen on May 16, 2014.
