Rob Zombie Talks Lords of Salem Premiere Date And Deleted Scene at New York Festival

Rob Zombie accepted an award Friday for Personal Achievement in Direction at the 10th annual New York Horror Film Festival. In his acceptance speech he teases what needed to be cut for an R rating, and when the film is due out. Check it out below...

During his acceptance speech, Rob was asked about Lords of Salem of course, and this is what he had to say:

"...Lords of Salem will be out in about four months maybe, we just got the rating today." When asked what had to be cut from Lords of Salem to avoid the NC-17,we got this little tidbit: "Oh there was this masturbating priest scene..."

On the Lords of Salem release, April is what I figured after the TIFF purchase. I had hoped for a rushed limited release, but April seemed about right. Stay tuned...
