Barbara Hershey Rejoins Patrick Wilson & Rose Byrne For Insidious Chapter 2

Deadline has just broke the news moments ago that Barbara Hershey (pictured below) will be making her return in Indious Chapter 2 . As the actress previously did in 2010's Indious, the Oscar-nominated thesp will play the role of Lorraine Lambert, the mother to Patrick Wilson’s character "Josh Lambert" and the grandmother to the demon-possessed boy Dalton.



Wilson returns for the sequel to the horror pic as does Rose Byrne, Lin Shaye, and Ty mpkin.

Jason Blum’s Blumhouse Productions is producing (with Alliance financing) the film which will once again be written by Leigh Whannell and directed by James Wan.



Production is set to start on the film in LA in early 2013, with a release date set for August 30, 2013.

At this time of writing, there’s no news on what the plot of the sequel will entail but judging by the cast and title we can take a guess that the film will continue from where the first one left off.
