From 1959 to 1964, Roger Corman produced his Poe Cycle. A string of films mostly starring Vincent Price. He often collaborated with Richard Matheson

and the two made a complimentary team. THR has reported that he will be essentially reviting the films that helped make him famous. These are: House of Usher, The Pit and the Pendulum, Premature Burial, Tales of Terror, The Raven, The Hunted Palace, The Masque of the Red Death, and The Tomb of Ligeia. At this point in time, he is attached as Producer only, with no plans to Direct.

With a budget of 2-2.5 Million per picture, he intends to finance himself through his New Horizon Productions. Also of note, it seems he wants one actor, (Ala Vincent Price), to essay the lead role in each film.

"Corman, honored at the first Governors Awards in 2009, says his biggest concern is replacing his legendary leading man Vincent Price, who died in 1993. Corman hopes to find a fiftysomething actor known from TV who, he says, can bring the same level of ‘sentivity and neuroticism that Vincent was able to bring.' "
