Big Update On The Next HALLOWEEN Movie! THE NEXT CHAPTER?

Since 2009, we have heard the rumors of another HALLOWEEN film. Many attempts to resurrect Michael Myers one more time have fallen short. Then there was no mention of a new installment for quite some time and it began to look as if another trip to Haddonfield wasn't ever going to happen. Then just a few months ago it was confirmed that another Halloween film is indeed in the works.

Recently rumblings have been going around about a possible film called HALLOWEEN: THE NEXT CHAPTER that would not be a direct follow up to HALLOWEEN 2 and that it would tell it's own story.

As it turns out, the rumors have been proven wrong as Halloweenmovies.com, which is the official site for all things HALLOWEEN, addressed the issue saying:

"We’ve been getting a lot of e-mails/tweets/Facebook messages lately about a project called Halloween: The Next Chapter. It seems that’s the latest buzz surrounding the next Halloween film and again it’s just not true. As we stated before, a new installment of Halloween is indeed in on track and moving forward and we are currently developing a script, to finally bring Michael back to the theaters!"

So there you have it. THE NEXT CHAPTER rumors are indeed false but it is good to know that the next HALLOWEEN project is still moving along nicely. We will continue to update you on this story as it develops.
