Fresh Imagery Arrives From The Set Of New Adaptation Of Stephen King's IT!

Bringing you the best in Horror Movie News, and all things Horror.

The new adaptation of Stephen King's IT has been coming together for a great while now. The plan for the project is for it to be presented in two separate films which is being produced by Dan Lin, Roy Lee, Seth Grahame-Smith and David Katzenberg. MAMA director Andy Muschietti was hired on to helm this new adaptation.

Just recently we got our first full look at the new Pennywise and with filming still underway, more images from the set have surfaced.

Today we bring you some shots from the set of IT, showing the abandoned house that resides at 29 Neilbolt Street in Derry, Maine. This is the house where our child heroes encounter different forms of the Evil that terrorizes the town.

The current cast for the new IT adaptation is made up of Nicholas Hamilton, Sophia Lillis, Jaeden Lieberher, Finn Wolfhard, Jack Dylan Grazer, Wyatt Oleff, Chosen Jacobs, Owen Teague, Jeremy Ray Taylor, Javier Botet and Bill Skarsgard as Pennywise the Clown.

With the new IT project being planned as two separate films, we can expect to see the point of view from the kids in one film and the other film being that of the adults. Producer Roy Lee previously stated that an R-rating was to be the goal.

The book was previously adapted by Tommy Lee Wallace as a 1990 two part, three hour event miniseries on ABC, starring Tim Curry as Pennywise.

Original Synopsis for IT:

"It’s a small city, a place as hauntingly familiar as your own hometown. Only in Derry the haunting is real… They were seven teenagers when they first stumbled upon the horror. Now they are grown-up men and women who have gone out into the big world to gain success and happiness. But none of them can withstand the force that has drawn them back to Derry to face the nightmare without an end, and the evil without a name."

Remember to mark September 8th, 2017 on your calendar as this is the official release date for Part 1 of the new adaptation of Stephen King's IT.
