The Very Latest News On RINGS Movie - Official Trailer Included!

The idea of if you watch a certain cursed video tape that a creepy long haired ghost girl will come after you to take your life is quite unsettling. 2002 saw the release of THE RING and with it's success it spawned a sequel in 2005 titled THE RING TWO.

A third film went into production last year which will be a sequel titled RINGS. It is being directed by F. Javier Gutierrez and the story is set 13 years after the events of the 2002 film.

RINGS was set to hit theaters on October 28th but Paramount has officially been pushed back until February 3rd, 2017.

Akiva Goldsman, David Loucka and Jacon Aaron Estes wrote the script which is based on the 1991 novel by Koji Suzuki. Laurie MacDonald and Walter Parkes are producing. The movie is executive produced by Guillermo del Toro.

RINGS stars Matilda Lutz, Alex Roe, Johnny Galecki, Aimee Teegarden, Bonnie Morgan, and Vincent D'Onofrio.

Synopsis:

"In Rings, a young woman becomes worried about her boyfriend when he explores a dark subculture surrounding a mysterious videotape said to kill the watcher seven days after he has viewed it. She sacrifices herself to save her boyfriend and in doing so makes a horrifying discovery: there is a “movie within the movie” that no one has ever seen before…"



Remember, RINGS will now arrive into theaters on February 3rd, 2017.
