The Very Latest On TREMORS 6 Within!

Tremors and Graboid fans learned not long ago that there will be a part 6 in the franchise as announced by Michael Gross on Facebook. 2015 saw the release of TREMORS 5: BLOODLINES which was well received and fans are gearing up for the next installment.

As you may know Universal Studios will be bringing back Michael Gross, who portrays Burt Gummer, Jamie Kennedy, as well as director Don Michael Paul.

B-D recently spoke with Don Michael Paul about the upcoming film and he reveals:

"What might you see?! Burt doing his thing!!!! Graboids doing their thing! Ass Blasters pouncing! Graboid goop and gore! And you might get an icy glimpse of a Dirt Devil as you’ve never seen before!!!!"

Official synopsis:

"Burt Gummer and his son Travis Welker find themselves" up to their ears in Graboids and Ass-Blasters when they head to Canada to investigate a series of deadly giant-worm attacks. Arriving at a remote research facility in the artic tundra, Burt begins to suspect that Graboids are secretly being weaponized, but before he can prove his theory, he is sidelined by Graboid venom. With just 48 hours to live, the only hope is to create an antidote from fresh venom — but to do that, someone will have to figure out how to milk a Graboid!"

Joining Gross and Kennedy in the cast will be Tanya van Graan, Rob van Vuuren, and Greg Kriek,

Gross portrays survivalist Burt Gummer in all of the TREMORS films except for TREMORS 4: THE LEGEND BEGINS, where he took on the role of Burt's ancestor Hiram Gummer. He also was a part of 2003's Tremors television series which aired on the SciFi Channel.

As for Jamie Kennedy and director Don Michael Paul, the pair made their debuts in last year's TREMORS 5: BLOODLINES. Kennedy is set to reprise his role of Travis B. Welker, who was revealed to be the illegitimate son of Gummer, with the pair ready to remain united as professional monster hunters. TREMORS 6 should be a lot of fun.

General manager/executive VP of Universal 1440 Glenn Ross previously said of the film:

“This is going to be the craziest, most over-the-top movie in the Tremors saga to date,” “It takes the franchise’s signature combination of suspense, action and humor to new explosive heights."

TREMORS 6 will be released on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital HD in 2018.
