Update On The Next GRUDGE Film Within!

As most of you know, THE GRUDGE is a popular Horror film that is also a remake of the Japanese film, JU-ON: THE GRUDGE. There have been plans to reboot THE GRUDGE for a while, with news here and there, but now it looks as though the project still has life left in it.

Back in July, it was revealed that Sony had selected Nicolas Pesce (THE EYES OF MY MOTHER) to write and direct THE GRUDGE reboot. Jeff Buhler had previously written the script back in 2014, but Buhler has added his own flavor to that.

We have now learned that actress Andrea Riseborough is being sought after to play a major role in the film. If she chooses to take on the part, she will portray a detective, who is a single mother.



Riseborough is known for her role in BIRDMAN, as well as from BLACK MIRROR.
