is the enconmy better?

things seems to have been better lately around our area and i was wondering how everyone else was doing in this economy. has it gotten any better?

well a lot of cities are in VERY bad shape....Buffalo and Detroit being two. In NYC all vendors; stores and shops are suffering. Many small places like cafes and tattoo parlors have been clong.

I don't see it. Obama's spinsters are saying it is. We'll see... and hope!

the little guys may be suffering but at least the stock market and world economy seem to be stable. a few months ago it was like we were all gonna be back in the stone age.

I haven't seen it myslef as I am still unemployed but the Real Estate Agency I am looking to work for says the houng market is picking up

now so hopefully that is a good gn.

According to the NY Times and most news media sources this past week.....unemployment in the US has reached 10%....the highest nce 1983.

We're long clients at work so I still do part time jobs

I'd be happy with even a part time job at this point. I can't wait till we move as there is nothing in this dead end town but people wanting to live off of the state.

come to michigan, it jumped to over 15 percent and still climbing
