What's the one horror movie everyone should own?

I just want to say how much I love this place so far. Everyone seems really cool. I'm a nooby but loving talking horror and this looks like the place to be. I have always loved horror and am starting to get into collecting now that I own one of Dark Artist's figures.

Now onto the question. Whats the one horror movie that needs to be in everyone's collection.

Whether its a special edition, a movie set, cool packaging, or anything else.

Definitely Halloween, it was the movie that started Friday the 13th and so on, also its on halloween night?!?! so hands down number one movie

I agree the Dawn of the Dead Ultimate Edition is a must have but come on now everyone knows The Burning is the one movie everyone HAS to have never mind needs.

Disregarding special edition dvd's etc...just the barebones films?

these were all ground breakers and trend setters and showcase different styles of horror and film making style. Close runner ups for me are: LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT MANIAC

Here are the others in close second for me Day Of The Dead, Demons, Zombie, Universals Wolfman, Frankenstein and Dracula

Definitely (i know its more than one but we will count it as one) you should own the Evil Dead Trilogy.

I am so pleased to see that I own just about 99% of the movies mentioned here! My first thought was HalloweeN, but then again I don't know to many people that don't have that... Or at least a few copies of it... lol!

How about Carrie... I am going to go with it and say that Carrie should be owned by every collecter... It's an imortal clasc. Now for those of you that do not own it, don't be ashamed... I need to get my ass in gear and nail a copy too! LOL!!! --Ryan
