A Personal Holy Grail - Verne Langdon Zombie

One of my personal Holy Grails arrived today! This zombie isn't the reissue that Kelly Mann offered several years ago. Some of you may recall a number of years ago there was a run of approximately 10 copies made from a cast of an original...this is one of those copies. I picked this up from a collector who had access to an original Langdon zombie and when he compared the two they were almost indistinguishable.

As for the other goodies pictured, the issue of Creepy magazine is from 1972 which pictures Langdon's original mask on the cover. Back when Verne & Kelly offered the reissue mask, Verne also released this tiki mug with the degn. I was too late to get the mask but I did manage to pick up the mug.

Primarily I collect clasc monsters but I also have a fondness for the old school masks. I don't limit myself to those though and I'll pick up some new pieces if they appeal to me for one reason or another.
