Hey guys new here :)

Just stumbled across your forum last night looking around for movie props actually, just had to join and say hi. Great te, fantastic work by allot of talented people.:) I have just started to make a few things, stared my first Freddy gloves a few months ago and also started a Remake veron a month or so ago and finished it just before Xmas. I was going to post pics but not sure where to do so. They are ok for first tries I think, maybe not up to the standards here though. :)Clinton

Hey, thanks for the welcome. I wasn't sure if I should post pics here or not, thought I'd ask first.

Just started making some props, started with a few Freddy gloves. The metal work is pretty close to the movie stuff I think but the gloves are for sure not. I can't get them here (canada) and the guys I made em for didn't care if the glove was 100%. They are all made form 1.35mm copper and brass, had to aneal it before shaping. The blades are hand polished 1.65mm stainless. Everything was cut and formed by hand nce I didn't/don't plan on making many. Hope you like em, Let me know what you think.

First 3 are bacally the same as that's what the guys wanted, last one is my attempt at a Remake. :) They look more aged in person.

Really great work on the gloves.

Glad you found us here.

I'm sure you'll have no trouble unloading some of these should you decide to make them available for sale.

Welcome aboard

Thanks guy's these were just made for a trade I did a month or so ago. I worked a deal to trade some props thinking it shouldn't be too hard to do some up. It was a learning experience, but really fun. I could most likely be convinced to do more if the trade was good. The remake was a huge pain in the butt though, 3 times the work of the others.

If anyone is interested in talking about a trade of sorts feel free to PM me and we'll talk about it. :)

:HOLY SHNIKES:

They should all be fairly close, most likely a the camera angle.

I'm actually a Autobody guy by trade but huge Horror and -Fi fan. I also Airbrush and do some machine work.

Actually,I'm doing 2 hybrids in the next month or so for a guy in the US and one in Sweden. They both want different shapes on the blades etc so I made a few prototype blades to see what they like. These are 3.5mm thick stainless so they aren't going to be cheap to make (time and mat). Metal is still way too expenve in Canada.

Thanks again guys, I put the Remake glove up for the HOF in the props section. Nudge, nudge, wink, wink.I'll post up the new stuff when I get going on it, have to build a lightsaber first though might be a week or more.

So I had to start the new glove sooner than expected, here's a few pics of the blades I built last night. All hand cut and formed out of 3.3mm stainless. Took way too long but I think they turned out not too bad, should have more done tonight.
