Original My Bloody Valentine

I just watched the remake of MBV & want to get the original. I've read on Amazon that the dvd release has 9mins misng cause the film was damaged beyond repair. So my question is, is it worth getting the VHS instead, does anyone have the VHS & DVD of it & is it worth getting the VHS for the extra 9mins?

Are you talking about the newly restored veron?? It has all the gore in it and the picture quality is superb

i have the original on dvd, it is the restored veron. it has deleted scenes of the deaths, pretty much the same but with a lot more gore. it is MUCH better than the remake, and definitely worth getting.
