Trick r' Treat

I saw trick r' treat the other day, I am the only one in my family who actually liked it! It was one of the BEST movies of 2009, the death's are cool, I especially liked the story with the kids going down that ravine thing or whatever it was. The little guy that you see in every story was awesome, especially with his mask off. But i was kind of confused... is he like, a spirit of halloween, killing people that don't respect the rules???

Loved that movie, would've love to have seen it in a theater. The little guy would be Sam. Sam for Samhein. I guess you can say he's a spirit.

I LOVED Trick 'r Treat!! As you can tell by my awesome g banner below thanks to Mr. BooMan himself

Sam is such an awesome character.

That movie is purely what Halloween is all about!

I waited 3 years for that movie to come out and it was well worth it!

Nah, I loved the movie. Got so mad because I couldn't find it anywhere and my GF at the time found it and bought it for me. And Sam is soooo adorable.

Very surprised this was a straight to DVD flick... it is one of the best scary movies I've seen in years. mple Halloween traditions become vital necesties as a creepy pumpkin man finishes off those who choose to ignore them. Anna Paquin is awesome (True Blood fans must see!)

It was worth a watch but in my opinion it didn't live up to the hype.

I thought it was great. Sam was awesome not to mention adorable, and the stories were interesting and just the right amount of twisted. It's definitely made the list of movies i watch every year for Halloween.

i agree also. fun movie to watch, but wasn't scary at all, and the Sam character was dumb.

I loved the movie, it was one of the best horror movies I've seen that wasn't a remake. It was like a mix between Pulp Fiction and Creepshow.

Whatever you compare it to. It was refreshing and something that wasn't a remake. How it didn't make it to the lver screen I'll never know. It's ashame the general public didn't get to see what Halloween is truly all about.

I'm the oppote. I can totally understand why they didn't release it in theaters. It was worth a DVD viewing, I guess, but it didn't impress. I agree with thebeyond105, it was like a Goosebumps episode for adults.

I love this film. It may not have been scary but I don't find many films to be scary unless it has to do with kids killing. Nothing more evil then youth gone wild. I loved Sam and thought by far this was one of the best "Halloween" feel movies in a very long time and actually nce Halloween III I have been waiting for something that would give me the feeling this film did.

I loved the movie, and it will get several viewings each and every Halloween season as well as throughout the year.

I've never seen a movie with such wonderful Halloween imagery frame to frame.

The stories were interesting and intertwined brilliantly, and the cast was great.

There's literally nothing that I didn't enjoy about the movie.

Trick 'r Treat is one of the koooooolest movies that I've seen in forever.

I luv Sam. I can't believe you didn't see a need for him thebeyond105.He represented the spirit of Halloween. At least that's the way I took it.

Oh well, to each there own.

It just makes me so excited for Halloween when I see it.

When I saw this movie listed on Netflix, I figured because of the title that it was a "Drive-Thru" or "Thankskilling"-esque film that was more comical that scary. But then, I read the description and I was intrigued to say the least. This movie was really damn good in my opinion. It was shot well, it has a GREAT storyline, and it really made me feel like a kid going trick-r-treating with my friends again. I have to say, story-wise, this is one of the most entertaining low budget (or rather, non-limelight) films I have seen from the horror genre. DEFINITELY recommended.

I've lost count of how many times I've watched this movie.

Just finished another viewing again a few minutes ago.
