Chucky's Back?

I just read on the front page that the evil plastic doll is back for a remake. At first I wanted to put a bullet in my mouth but I'm having second thoughts. Maybe with the effects these days they can make a better movie?

this kicks ass as long as they take it seriously! no more bride or seed of chucky, take it back to serial killer craziness that creeps people out instead of makes people laugh.

It took me so long before I could watch Child's Play.

My mom put a doll in my bed when I was 5 shortly after watching the first 2 and I was always afraid of them.

That being said, I've heard that Mancini (the writer of the original, and now the writer/director of the new one) said that he thought things could have been better in the original. In a day and age in which remakes are taking over the world, I think he figured it'd be a good opportunity.

I'll be seeing it regardless.

I'm all for seeing Chucky back on the big screen as I have always loved him even through his crappy last movies.

I think it's a good idea. and it is true..with newer technology it could turn out pretty great..however CGI blood is lame, i hope they don't use that.

I caught wind of this when I was yacking with Brad Dourif on the set of Junkyard Dog. He is freekin awesome.
