Jason Goes to Hell

I had never seen this movie before, strange one, kinda off the beaten Jason track.

What was up with the Book Of THE Dead being in the Voorhees house?

Were the trying to say mommy was an occult dabbler?

It lost me really.

Any thoughts?

It was such a let down not seeing Jason most of the movie.

I really liked his look when you did see him and the ending was koooool.

But it was so different. I didn't like it very much.

Why did they change the mask in each Friday the 13th movie?

Don't even get me started on Jason goes to Hell and Jason X.

Yeah what a waste of a movie. The only good part is Freddy's hand coming out of the ground grabbing Jason's mask.

lol To be honest I liked Jason goes to Hell and Jason X. Not for anything tangible, not like I was looking for a big story filler. I dont go to see Jason and expect an Oscar award winning script, I go to watch people killed off by a big Hockey Mask wareing monster

and of course Freddy Glove at the end was PRICELESS Now, all I have to look forward to as fare as Jason is conserned is retakes off the remake that was more porn then horror.

I don't think JGTH gets enough credit for creatinig an actual story and mythology for the franchise. All other movies were formulaic, whereas JGTH made you watch from beginning to end to find out what was happening. The movie has the best special effects of the franchise and some of coolest kills to boot. And, New Line's promotion was awesome!

I proudly display my collection from the movie. Here is just some of what I have.

Some of the gore was good as was Jason's look. I also enjoyed Kane's cameo in the beginning.

Jason Goes To Hell is a piece of shit all the way around. So is Jason Takes Manhattan though.
