Which reminds me of a mular story. Oncue was going out of buness where I live and they had a sale going on. I wanted the McFarlane Jaws box set and it was $15.00... Mom said no way... Now try to buy one for under 100 bucks... It's right next to impossable... lol...

For the record I think I got this at a pretty decent deal. I snagged this standee for 61 bucks... I don't think that was to bad at all for it condering the condition is almost perfect and the fact that it is 25 years old...

Thanks for the kind words Tommy!

anything of this nature is worth the money you paid for it. It is a piece of film history as well as print media history...

and I wish I would have known about the jaws set....i threw one away that was mint but no box when we moved last month....LOL... I also threw away an extra opened King Kong set along with some other stuff....LOL

take care, Tommy

take care, Tommy YOU WHAT???lol!!! Even being opened you can get at the least 50 bucks out of it... Yeh those things really shot up in value... Another good one is the Cinema Of Fear Series 1 Jason "The Final Chapter" figure... 200 bucks...

Some figures really gain the value...

Now I don't know to much about the King Kong set, but the Jaws box set is really gaining it's value... Speaking of Jaws, I just watched Jaws 2 last night and learned something interesting when I was watching the making of... Murray Hamilton's wife had to under go a surgery and he was going to walk out on the movie. Said he didn't give a damn about his career and that he needed to be with his wife. So they told him, what if we can shoot all your scenes in the next 2 days and then fly you to be with your wife. And he did it... In 2 days...

Gotta respect a man that can wipe his career away for his wife! I am glad that he was able to do the movie though!
