well here it is, this thing weighs just under 40 lbs and it is razor sharp.
why would i own something like this you ask.......i don.t know. guess i just enjoy a good cleaver. i spent the day making the handle out of cherry and installing it on this monster.
it is still not finished, still have some sanding to do and i think i am going to oil the handle so its darker and shows the beauty of the wood that i used. i will post more pics when it's all finished. i am also working on a smaller one, that is anything but small.
