Jason Lives Life-sized Costume

This is my 2nd costume and first part 6 life-zed. I put a lot of work into this and tried to replicate the weathering as best as posble. I have a few shirts and this one is the best color, the trade off is that this one did not have pockets. But I went with it anyway because the other ones are slightly smaller and lighter in color. I might add fake pockets later but it turned out great regardless. I doubt the camera will show the details but I added all the little zigzag holes on the bottom left stomach, the cuts on the collar, frays on the seams, fence post holes and just finished up the paintball mark which turned out great. The paint is still wet actually but tomorrow I may have to add perma-wet if it not a gloss paint, but I think it is anyway. The knife is pretty heavy so it pulled the belt down moving it.

I just wanted to get some quick pics and it is about 98% done. I held back on the weathering but I tried my best to replicate the yellowish brown look of the weathering, and the darker blackish wet looking sleeves and fence post hole stains. I also added some light cobwebbing just for fun as I plan on doing another veron with a full faced mask from the beginning that is muddy, wet, and with cobwebs. they will also be dirtier and muddy. I am also making the fence post and had the tip done for awhile now. The mask is my old one that I got long ago and I had the straps made adjustable so I could wear it because I know those unadjustable ones won't fit. So overall I am pretty happy with it. I might have to get more pics later outde as it was getting dark, but they may be fine. I also have a polyfoam machete in the works that will work with this display and costuming. Video coming soon. Still working on the darts and fishing lures.

Alright here my first fence post and it turned out fabulous. It is about 99% done still drying in some areas. I made it out of wood, a coupling attachment, and some cardboard for the tip. It was all black and looked ck that way but in the movie it also has rust and mud all over it as seen while it is in Jason's chest. So I went for that. I also did the bottom part as accurate as posble as far as the shape goes and it looks charred from where the lighting struck it. I wanted a 6 foot one but for storage this one works well and it still about 5'7" or so. I hope to do my next alternate life-zed part 6 holding this if all works out well.

Fence post complete, took some pics with a white background and some flash. Will do some costume shots later with this. Currently working on alernate verons and will do more pics with full faced maggot head when I get it.

Quick costume shots video for fun, again only one take as it was 80 degrees out so I had to get this off before the sweat started lol. Not sure how to edit mid clip as I wanted to edit the zooms so that it looked liked it zoomed in 3 times as I have no camera person. Hood also popped out but did not have time to fix it. But you get the idea. I might be selling this costume as well, at least the hood and hockey mask, gloves, and another milar costume made from the beginning with more mud and weathering. Only selling to finance more cool projects. So watch for that.

Took some outdoors pics with costume #2 now on eBay in the clasfies section, check out the pics there on my auction. Also did some fun scene reenactments, damn I want to be in the movie with my costumes lol. Tough to match the sounds up with movie maker as it only lets you edit so much but oh well not too bad. I need a better "video" camera with sound soon. Outdoor video is the first one followed by two reenactments. I combined the fence post kill and part 8 spear gun arrow.

Veron 3 (Rise from the grave) almost done. Working on other parts now. Teaser pics. This is meant to be seen in low lighting but kust used the flash to show details.

Still need to dirty the webs up some later, just testing for now. But as I said this is meant for low lighting anyway. Hands are still drying and my latex hands don't fit into them because they shrunk, so I stuffed them as best as I could for now. I made custom hands from garden gloves to be accurate lol. The paint matches the maggot head from Bellamy. But yeah here is the night shots I wanted for this especially the no flash ones.
