Marcus display bust - finished and bloody

I am starting to work on a display bust of marcus from underworld evolution. It has taken a few hours to get to this point with building up, but there is still a long way to go. Any comments or critiques are welcome. Thanks.

So far, so good!

What I love best about this piece is that it pays tribute to an under-appreciated series of films, I personally love the Underworld series! Also, its a welcome break from the usual suspects! Can't wait to see progress pics!

Here are some update shots. I hae worked out more of the anatomy and details on the chest and shoulder area and have worked a little more on the face and overall shape. This sculpt is my largest yet and is at least 75-100 lbs easy, even with the fact that most of it is built up with newspaper and foam. comments and critiques welcome.

Here are some pics of the finished sculpture and the latex blank.

For this display i have made a custom base that i will paint all black. I am also going to do a clean and bloody veron of him. What do you guys think?

Here is an update on the base, i did a stone texture for it. I wanted it to be interesting but not be too much to take the attention away from marcus. I casted it in latex and foam filled with space in the middle to go around the pipes.
