John Carpenters The Thing

By far TCM. Amazingly redone with class and perfect respect to the original. Wasn't a shot for shot remake and you still could get every bit of storyline as the original. Why cant directors nail all their remakes like this....

Invaon of the Body Snatchers

I definitely agree with The Thing and TCM as being the two best remakes ever. Both are so well done. I really wish more remakes were made with this type of attention to quality. And the blob wasn't an amazing movie but it was much better than the original.

The Thing for sure, but I also thought House on Haunted Hill was well done and better than the orig.

Also have to give a nod to The Ring and Dawn of the Dead. (DOTD wasnt better than the orig IMO but I really enjoyed it)

OOOPS almost forgot Savini's Night of the Living Dead. What's wrong with me???
