pt 7 blank im painting progress photos! new pics added!

this is my very first attempt at painting a good hock and these pics were taken with a cell phone camera so dont be too harsh lol

i just thought it would be kinda cool to do progreson picson with the pics!

basecoat

963.jpg" class="photoborder" /> the first light scuff damage and weathering

some heavier weathering with a different brown black and burnt umber mix

really drilled some of the weathering into the boat motor marks

individually did each vent hole about 5 times, that was a pain lolthats where it ts right now

still gotta do a clear coat before i go to bed tonight and let it t all day and figure out what kind of mix i want to do for some more earth tones to add to it and figure out how in the hell im going to paint the chevron nce its so deformed in pt 7

painted the chevron on, had to draw it on by hand and then paint it nce its warped in the movie notice the paint isnt dry yet, i tried to get the right black cherry combo going on it

added some sublte and no so subtle earth tones





the chevron was dry at this point

The pt7 is a pretty difficult hock to duplicate imo. I like how you did the chevron roughly. That actual screen used had a sloppy painted one on it and most replicas don't capture that very well. Very cool
