Looking for some advice and input please

Hello everybody.......Not really sure where to begin but I am new here and looking for some expert advice. It's nice to find a forum of people who share my enthuasm for Halloween. I am planning my costume for this year and have a few ideas but would like to hear second opinions or tips if you have some. I want to put together a costume that looks like a typical slasher/psychopath individual. In particular I really like the look of a dirty greasy man wearing some type of clown face mask. Almost a mask wearing a mask if that makes sense? I have been searching the web but only found one solid idea but I am still not sure and my wife tells me it isn't scary at all

So I was thinking of buying this http://www.thehorrordome.com/doll-face-halloween-mask.aspx for a mask, it comes with a doll face mask but I am not sure if it would look creepier than a clown mask? Any opinions?

So I thought about adding this http://www.thepropshopte.com/PsychopathClownblood.html clown mask to wear over the top of it. What do you guys think?

Where I am really stumped is the outfit.........I was thinking of maybe some coveralls like MM wears but I am not sure if that would match?

wow what a first post best i can tell you is get what you like and what you can afford, on ly you know what kind of mask you would like

as far as a base costume it depends on what mask you wear

start from the top down, find a mask you like, post it here and maybe we can help you with the rest

I agree...and yes welcome on a de note though wouldn't a mask on top of another one be alittle uncomfortable....and not to mention hot...i dunno

(aww i like this smiley lol)

You can always try something original like this:

Zombie half of your face with make-up, then wrap the other de of your face with guaze.

So, it will be like 2 in 1 mask without being too hot.
