The Thing From Another World
I am really into some of the old clasc horror films, and one of my all time favorites is Howard Hawks "THE THING"
from another world. This 1951 clasc is certainly worth watching if you haven't already seen it. Directed by Christian Nyby it was ahead of it's time and was one of the most popular films of that year. So how many of you that have seen the original THE THING, which was also featured in John Carpenters Halloween and then later remade by Carpenter. Also what did you think of it?

the original was awesome for sure BUT john carpenters remake is one of the VERY rare instances where the remake was better than the original

Yeah both movies were just awesome, the original gives you that cool vintage vibe, and the Remake is an effects heavy roller coaster ride that rocks.
