Remaking Buffy...Why?

I never watched the show, just the 1992 movie starring Kirsty Swanson & Luke Perry, but why remake this. It just seems like a waste I'm sure there's plenty of other properties the WB can get their hands on. Stop with the remakes! What's next...The Exorcist? I hope not!

If "The Exorcist" ever gets the remake treatment that is the day that I truly throw an all out, 2 year old, toddler type fit in the middle of a crowded store. I mean it!

Thanks...I feel that nothing is sacred anymore and it'll only be a matter of time before everything has a remake. The sad part is kids today will grow up knowing only remakes without knowing the clascs that we grew up loving. I remember a time when I called Borders, around 2006, looking for Black Christmas on DVD and the clerk says, "Sorry that isn't even in theaters yet." I said, "That's the remake, I mean the original from 1974." "Oh...let me check", she said. That just makes me ck.

Being a huge Buffy fan, this makes me want to.... ...
