Acrylic eyes in my Part 1 Jason

I picked up one of these BITN mass produced Part 1 Jasons off feebay. The mask itself looked ok. It's far from great but it'll fill the Part 1 spot on my shelf until I find a Bad Swimmer. However, I just couldn't get past the paint job on the one eye. This morning I cut out the painted eye and popped in a pair of cheap (24 for $8) acrylic eyes.

Let me know what you think. I'm also on the fence about whether or not to add some additional weathering.

it looks 100 times better already Lee. That is the exact same thing i did to my BITN mask when i first got it as well as the BITN part 2. In respect to adding more weathering, I say why not. nce you already took the scissors to it, there is nothing keeping you from adding more to it. Just have fun with it and make it how you want it.

and here are two different mask veron of young jason currently for sale as far as i know of. One of course is from the original film and the other is from FVJ. I know Daniel personally and he is a great guy to deal with.

I gave my copy to Ian and he has it on display at his house. Your copy looks much smaller than the one Ian has. We need to stuff it and heat up the latex and smooth it out in a few areas. I love the eyes, they are a nice touch.

I keep saying this, but one day I'd like to get one of those younger Jason Displays. Preferably the first one you see on the link that Tommy posted! Looks kick ass! I even like the one that you posted Lee! I like all the green mold and leafs an shit it has on it! Looks streight from the ending of F 13th Part 1!!! Love it! --Harry

Actually, for a mass produced mask it looks really good.

Looks MUCH better, it's amazing how that little change really made that mask look a ton better.
