What horror movie would you remake?

Ignore all past remakes. Gun is at your head and you are asked to remake a horror movie. Which do you pick and why?

Not so much of a remake as just the Next Generation of Killer Klowns From Outer Space!!

Better effects, scarier clowns, .. less shadow puppets!!

You guys are going to hate me for life but i would have to choose Phantasm, hear me out! I dont think they are ever going to finish the series and the original is pretty dated (79 i believe???). It most likely will be full of CGI and they cant ever replace Reggie or The Tall Man but for some reason i can still see it working. In the right hands i smell a successful remake...

I was waiting to see if someone would say The Burning. The only way I would want it remade is if I had total control of it. I hate the idea of them destroying my all time favorite film.

I actually wouldn't mind that!

.. Not sure who I'd cast as the Tallman though.

I would also like to see a remake of Phantasm. I love this film but a remake set in today's world would be welcomed by me. I think that this is a film where some properly used CGI would be a benefit. And as far as casting goes some care would have to be taken but it would not be imposble. Because after all Angus Scrimum is not really 8 feet tall. they used special shoes and camera angles to give that taller than tall appearance.

I know that as a fan of something it is hard to see someone else play a role you have come to love but it can be done effectively.

Another film I would like to see a remake/reboot of is Scanners. i love this film as well but a new veron could be cool if handled right.

i'd have to say Puppet Master, ealy. if put in the right hands it could really come off as a creepy flick as opposed to being a joke of the world of horror movies.

NO! leave Phantasm alone! lol

70's films remade dont translate well with today's "look". Just my opinion.

I'd remake I DRINK YOUR BLOOD.
