'HANSEL AND GRETEL WITCH HUNTERS' Set Pics and Info
This one looks to be very proming. Its a take on Hansel and Gretel after they have grown into adulthood. The movie is going for a strong R, with all the gore and action you can handle. Alot of the plot is unknown, but here is whats known.
Hansel (Renner) and Gretel (Arterton) have grown up and become famous for being highly-effective at hunting down and killing witches in the years nce their infamous incident at the gingerbread house. The two were permanently scarred by that event, seeing as that Gretel still suffers nightmares from the ordeal and Hansel is now diabetic (nce the witch forced him to eat all the candy when he was a kid). The story will take place in the town of Augsburg,
which has a serious witch problem. With numerous children having gone misng and the power-mad Sheriff Berringer (Stormare) burning potentially innocent suspects at the stake left and right. That forces the towns mayor to recruit Hansel and Gretel to help out.
The film is set to be release March 2, 2011. Looks like its going to be a pretty cool movie, I hope its better than 'The Brothers Grimm'. I forgot to mention that the guy who directed Dead Snow,Tommy Wirkola, is also directing this.
