BACKSTROM MYERS MASK 4 Sale!!!

Well I very much am always on the hunt for a db2 for the right price. I hope to acquire on one day.

not trying to knock chris' sale, but to me there are only three worth purchang...dennis' copy, the proto that went to rob zombie...which dennis also owns and colins copy now owned by swampy...one sold for 7,500 is true, but it is the one that is listed...Chris is the fella that paid that...I would only pay that much for a screen used

You almost have to write off the $7,500 sale.

That sale happened shortly after the mask came out and the euphoria was super high. I conder the sale to be a total out lier.There have been a few that recently traded hands, I know because I was involved in both and the mask sold for $2,250 and $2,500 respectively.

Also, Dennis will sell his prototype for $4,000.

Given that, I believe the true value is between $2,000 and $3,000 for one of the original 8, depending on the copy, exactly what I put in the price guide



Unless Cris can lure some clueless buyer on EBAY, I have a hard time believing the mask is going to sell at that price.

Cris is a good guy, I hope he gets his ask, I've got my fingers crossed for him. BUT I'm hoping he accepts the offer I made him instead

HOLY SHIT! wow... haha --Harry I agree 110%It's all a matter of personal taste and money is relative. $7500 isn't really a lot of money for some people. Personally I wouldn't pay that much for a mask but I wouldn't knock someone who did. I don't think my collection is low-end and the most I've paid for any one mask is 1/10 of that (although that's likely to change soon).

$7,500.00 is a bunch of money but to see a Beckstrom mask in person is to understand that its a piece of art and you can't put a price on that in my eyes. I love my Resurrection mask by Dennis. He more than came through on our little project and I still think it's the best mask I will own until he out does it with the next project.

I would just rather apply that 7500 bucks to something else.
