PIRANHA 3DD Adds 2011 Sexiest Woman Alive
First the ladies get their eye candy with the announcement of Gary Busey joining the cast of PIRANHA 3DD (right ladies?) and now the guys are taken care of with Esquire’s 2011 Sexiest Woman Alive, Katrina Bowden. Not bad for the B-movie CGI fish fest.
In addition to the cast of director John Gulager’s
(FEAST) PIRANHA 3DD also adds Danielle Panabaker, Matt Bush, Chris Zylka, David Koechner, Meagan Tandy, Paul James Jordan, Jean-Luc Bilodeau, Hector Jimenez, Adrian Martinez, and Clu Gulager.
In the sequel, instead of terrorizing GIRLS GONE WILD Spring Breakers, the sharp-teethed prehistoric fish will instead take their feeding frenzy to The Big Wet Water Park. What could go wrong, right? Dimenon's original remake of PIRANHA which came out last year did so-so at the box office. The fear with the sequel is will the audience show up in droves to see a "summer fun" movie that opens November 23rd?
With the recent flop that was SCREAM 4 the Weinstein's and Dimenon Films are hoping the scantly clad actresses and CGI fish will bring in some real capitol for a production company that has been taking on "water" so to speak. Stay tuned for more details as we get them.
