'LEATHERFACE 3D' A Sequel? Plot Details Revealed
Yesterday we told you that John Luessenhop's name has been attached to the Leatherface 3D project. Now some more news regarding the movie has surfaced today. According to our buds over at Bloody Disgusting.com, an inde source has revealed some very interesting plot details.
Previously it was thought that Leatherface 3D was going to be a reboot of the original series, but BD is reporting that its actually going to be a direct sequel to Tobe Hooper's clasc 1974 film.
Plot Synops:
A young girl by the name of Heather, travels to Texas along with her friends in order to collect an inheritance that was bestowed upon her. The inheritance just happens to be a package deal which includes a coun who goes by the name of Leatherface. So, if this "inder" is right, that would mean that the character of Heather will now "own" one of the ckest mass murderers of the 20th century. Now don't go getting too excited by these details. The plot line isn't set in stone, and as we all know, things change very rapidly in the movie buness.
It should also be noted that whoever lands the lead role of "Heather" will be locked in for multiple sequels, along with the town's "Sheriff Hooper" and his trusty dekicks, "Fransworth" and "Deputy Carl Hartman."
Filming is set to begin this June.

Sounds a bit ridiculous, but so was TCM part 2... Which was still an awesome movie
