Yet Another Remake Of "Night Of The Living Dead"

George A. Romero's 1968 "Night Of The Living Dead" is one of the horror genre's most influential films ever made. Over the years it has been re-made, re-shot, re-imagined and re-told countless times. Starting with Tom Savini's 1990 remake. In the late 90's Anchor Bay released a 30th anniversary edition with newly added scenes that were filmed 30 years after the original, even ung some of the original actors. This was one of the worst ideas I've ever seen. In 2006 Jeff Broadstreet re-made it into "Night Of The Living Dead 3-D" and in 2009 "Night Of The Living Dead: Re-Animated" was released. This re-make was a little different. Instead of live actors they used CGI, hand drawn animations, claymation and puppets to re-tell the story. In 2012 Jeff Broadstreet will release his sequel to "Night Of The Living Dead 3-D" with "Night Of The Living Dead 3-D: Re-Animated. Not to be confused with the animated "Re-Animated".

Now I have learned that there is another re-make on it's way. This one is "Night Of The Living Dead: Origins 3-D" This is a 3-D CGI modern remake that takes place in a New York City apartment building. Giving their voices to this animated remake are Tony Todd and Bill Mosely, repring their rolls as Ben and Johnny from the 1990 re-make. Also lending their voice talents are Tom zemore, Danielle Harris and rapper Tech N9ne.

This is a fan made video of screen shots and conceptual art. http://youtu.be/34GwwsrXM ***Honorable Mention*** In 1990 a group of friends took the original film and removed all of the dialog and replaced it with their own, the result was a very funny tribute to "NOTLD" with with what could be the longest title ever given to a movie. "Night of the Day of the Dawn of the Son of the Bride of the Return of the Revenge of the Terror of the Attack of the Evil, Mutant, Alien, Flesh Eating, Hellbound, Zombified Living Dead Part 2: In Shocking 2-D" If you haven't seen this, do yourself a favor and hunt it down.
