HOSTEL: Part 3 Heads to Vegas

I've been wanting to write something about the upcoming installment in the soon-to-be Hostel Trilogy for some time now but i hadn't gotten around to it because i wanted to wait for a bit more information to be released about the project however i couldn't rest:

Hostel Part Three is taking the relentlessly violent torture sesons and sexually driven, hormone-fueled plots to Las Vegas, Nevada this time around. Thats right, for whatever reason the film's location has been moved to the other de of the world with a plot that already sounds as if it will completely contrast with the previous two films.

Set in Las Vegas, the film centers on a man who attends his best friend's bachelor party, unaware of an indious agenda that plays into hunting humans.

There you have it, Bitites! The film is written by Scott Spiegel, and John Fasano. Scott Spiegal also directs this time around. it should be noted that Spiegel

served as an executive producer on the first two Hostel films as well. The film stars Kip Pardue, John Hensley, Skyler Stone, Chris Coy, Thomas Kretschmann, and Sarah Habel

Another noteable fact is that the Eli Roth-less Hostel part 3 is set for a straight-to-DVD release sometime this year.

Now for the question everyone is wondering: Can the Hostel crew pull through and give us a decent trilogy without the legendary and brilliant Eli Roth helming the project? Should the producers have just left the story alone and not even bothered with a third installment? Please feel welcome to share any thoughts, concerns, ideas, or any further information about this article.

Well I think the direct to DVD part of it, kind of answers that question...but there have been pretty good direct to dvd films so who knows.

The first two Hostel movies were great. A straight-to-DVD, Eli Roth-less third? I don't know that it'll be very good.

I did hear from a friend though that Eli Roth will be involved with Hostel III as a writer.. somehow involved with the characters.

No, r. that information is false. Eli Roth has nothing to do with the project. He has confirmed multiple times that he will have zero involvement with the project

I think anyone involved in the continuation of this shit series should have their ability to create anything else removed... by force. I think those responble for the last two should also be held accountable for their dire ns against horror film making. All tongue in cheek ade though, I think the first two were shit enough excuses to try and merit film and should never have happened. Eli Roth really outdid himself trying to make a film worse than cabin fever and succeeded by making a terrible first half ass attempt at soft core porn and then finishing it with a half ass attempt at hard core horror while multaneously failing at both. I don't know which reviewers he must have paid/sucked off to get such glowing rewards heaped on his catastrophe of a movie making endeavor but these really need to stop. They're taking up shelf space for more deserving movies. I'm just glad someone like Clive Barker is not about to get fucked out of their lver screen debut like Midnight Meat Train fell prey to Liv Tyler and Ryan Reynolds mply for names attached to a project.

Being from Vegas, I hope they choose to use the hostel off of Main and I believe Bonneville in the downtown area or even

choose a place off of Koval behind the strip area, both give off that creepy vibe.

To each their own man but I really enjoyed both films. If you watch the behind the scenes making of featurettes for both films, you can tell that a lot of pason and thought went into each film and Eli Roth seems like a stand up guy as well. Not trying to ngle you out or anything but what types of horror films do you enjoy?
