One of the best parts about being a horror movie fan is the chance to meet the people you’ve idolized at a convention. The celebrity guests interact with their fans and sometimes even bond friendships. You can’t really say that about romantic comedies, can you?
The growing trend of horror conventions has struck again in southwest Texas - El Paso, Texas to be exact.
“Out in the west Texas town of El Paso….” It’s a Marty Robbins song.
FRANK N’CON is coning itself as “West Texas’ first convention catering to Sci-Fi, Horror and Beyond!” I must say being a first year convention it is already delivering all the bloody goods. The bands performing are almost just as good as the guests coming.
Perfectly timed - the convention will take place October 29th through the 30th right before the Holy day of horror…HALLOWEEN. As an added bonus, tickets purchased from the disastrous and canceled Texas Fear Fest Camp Blood: Friday the 13th Reunion will be accepted for this convention. Everything happens for a reason, right?
So, if you’re in the area, have Fear Fest tickets needed to be used, or are a horror fanatic head to El Paso, Texas in late October for a horrific good time.
