Anthology Films...Are they worth it?

Hey Bidite Nation,

Patrick Farmer here. I'm having an inner struggle here & I need you all to help steer me into the right direction. I've been working on my first film for 2 going on 3 years now. The one film has evolved into a trilogy, not just an ordinary trilogy an anthology one. My "Nights" Trilogy is composed of three films - Urban Nights, Rural Nights, & Suburban Nights. Each film has three stories each, totaling 9 stories for the entire trilogy. The kicker is that its not a series like creepshow, its more in tone with Trick R' Treat. All 9 stories will intertwine with each other, and forming one masve story almost. I've been working on writing it for 3 years, I'll write a story and then take it out, and add it again, and so on and so forth. I'm now looking for aspiring writers that may be interested in adding to this trilogy. I was able to film one of the stories in Urban Nights in 2009 and it'll be posted below.**PLEASE read the description of the video to understand the circumstance we were in as far as the shooting went - one night to shoot over 70% of the segment, the lead female being cast on the last day of shooting, etc*** I'm planning on revamping the story, cast, everything so it's a skeleton of what it will become. Don't hate too bad!

My question to you is would you like to see something like this? Ade from Trick R' Treat, there hasn't been quality anthologies in close to 15 years or so. Are you a horror fan interested in anthologies? Let me know what your views of the subgenre is and my proposed "Nights" Trilogy.

I, personally, love horror anthologies. As I get older and with kids running around I don't have the time or attention span for a full movie a lot of times so anthologies are great. Also, I think if a horror movie goes on too long it can lose its steam and just turn awful. As far as writing for your series, I would be very interested. I've been trying to be a writer for years now and love to write horror. If you need any help just contact me and I'll see what I can do.

If you want to see more of my writing style you can check out some work here.
