STEVEN KING'S BAG OF BONES Set To Film in Nova Scotia

What can you say about Steven King? The man is incredible. Not only is he the master of his domain when it comes to telling horror stories, but he's also the master of the movie adaptation. And with that said the 1998 novel that King wrote about a haunted vacation house entitled, Bag of Bones, isn't gonna be denied the all too familiar trip to the big screen that we've grown to expect.

According to the webte seaandbescene.com, a mini-series based on King's award-winning novel will begin shooting in Nova Scotia on July 6th, 2011, continuing through to August 31st, 2011.

The mini series will be directed by Mick Garris, who also was the writer/director on three of Stephen King's previous TV films including The Shining, The Stand and Desperation. Pre-poduction has started today for this series that has been on the back burner for quite a while.
