Today was the first day of shooting for Synthetic Cinema International and the Chiller Channels all new zombie film, Remains, which is based on the graphic novel by Steve Niles and Kieron Dwyer.
According to the Andrew Gernhard the founder of SCI, Remains is a low budget film which is a joint production between both companies. The film, which is Chiller's second original movie, will first air on cable, then it will receive a limited theatrical release.
Remains revolves around a blackjack dealer and a dancer who are trapped in a cano in Reno, Nevada when a nuclear accident zombifies everyone on earth.

Grant Bowler, Lance Reddick and Tawny Cypress have taken leading roles, joining the previously announced Miko Hughes.
Production is now under way in Norwich, Connecticut, which will last until June 25th. Look for this to air on Chiller later this year.
